SELF MEASURING GUIDE
For your convenience we will accept measurements either in centimeters or inches. It is a good idea to ask somebody to take the measurements while you stand still. With a tailor’s measuring tape, take the individual measurements as described. The most important measurements you will need to take are:
- Bust/Chest measured in circumference around the widest part of your chest, while inhaling lightly
- Biceps measured in circumference around the widest point
- Hips measured in circumference around your hips, at the widest point of your pelvis
- Sleeve length measured with your arm extended downwards or very slightly bent take a straight-line measurement from the point where your shoulder meets your collarbone to the point below your wrist
- Waist measured in circumference around the narrowest point in your waistline, while breathing normally
- Shoulder width measured as shown on the drawing
